The Do It Big Foundation was established in April 2024 by Averil and Howard Sylve, III in memory of their son, Britton J. Lindsey, who tragically passed away at the age of 25.
Britton was an honor student and an award-winning athlete. He received a football scholarship to attend Fort Valley State University and was an Airforce military veteran. Airman Britton J. Lindsey suffered mental health challenges in silence.
Founded with a commitment to supporting individuals affected by mental illness, our foundation provides a platform for healing, recovery, and empowerment. Through collaboration with mental health professionals, advocates, and communities, we strive to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and enhance access to mental health resources. Our goal is to foster a safe and compassionate space for individuals to find solace, strength, and hope on their journey to wellness.
The DIB Foundation will host fundraisers, raise donations, and seek sponsorships to offer services for counseling and scholarship assistance to students who are pursuing careers in the mental health or substance abuse fields.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help make a difference in counseling, education, and support services for those in need. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
